jessie's envy

You can learn how to be honest from children They will say what they see and what they feel without doubt
(“Gee.., you are as fat as my granny!”)

You can learn how to be sincere from children
They will give what they want to give without expecting the same thing
(“This cake is for you, Auntie..., eat! Eat!”)

You can learn how to be fearless from children
They will show you why you should enjoy a dangerous game
(In a theme park. “Wow, this riding was cool!!!!”)

You can learn how to be expressive from children
Their face will show you exactly what they feel
(“I got it, Uncle!! I won the game!!!”)

Most of all,
You can learn how to enjoy your life from children
They play whenever they want to play
They do not really care about what they will eat tomorrow
They are not afraid to face tomorrow
They are not too picky to choose friends

And you know what? Watching kids sometimes make me envious and wish I could turn back time – be a little girl who was not afraid of everything and enjoyed her life so much.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
